FIO Piu Piu Pet Nat NV

Introduction

Fio is a project based in the Mosel valley of Germany headed up by two fantastic young winemakers Phillip & Daniel under the guidance of the great Dirk Niepoort. The Piu Piu Pet Nat is 100% Riesling, all from Grand Cru sites, part barrel aged with secondary fermentation taking place in the bottle leaving a touch of sweetness on the wine. There’s plenty of fresh green apple and a delicate texture. Unfined, unfiltered and zero added sulphur.
