Waterford “Lakefield” Single Farm Origin Single Malt Whiskey (70cl 50%)

Introduction

Waterford’s Single Farm Origin Series is a range of limited edition whiskies that explore Irish teireoir using barley from one farm at a time. Lakefield 1.1 is the first release from the 2016 harvest at Lakefield Farm where Seamus Duggan consistently produces barley of exceptional quality. Made entirely from Irish ‘Irina’ malted barley, the whisky has been aged for 3 years and 7 months in multiple cask types including first fill, virgin US and French oak.

The resulting whisky is rich andhas notes of freshly baked bread, chocolate, warm custard, rhubarb & apple tart and cloves. Incredibly complex and fruity with a long and gentle finish.
